Just confirmed that Bear and I went through the Q Course together. I'll fondly remember bumping into each other one night on a land nav course and sharing a few words of encouragement with each other. He was a solid leader and great Soldier. De Oppresso Liber - Blue Skies

If anybody wishes to attend the Memorial, Funeral and Wake for MAJ "Bear", please PM me for directions and DTG. The services will be held south of Seattle in the SeaTac area.

Unhappy K2

Rod worked with me for me right out of high school. He was an outstanding young man. I kept up with him through his father and infrequent visits. We lost a great Marine, American and Patriot. I attended funeral services on Saturday, it was a very moving experience. Rest well Marine!

I have also just come across this thread. My apologies for the delay in posting my regrets.

RIP men. My thoughts and prayers out to those here who knew and served with Mr. Richardson and Mr. Barattieri, and the members of their families. My condolences to the two Kurds and their friends and families as well. I am sorry for your losses.
