My buddy is the Superintendent off the ABMC Cemetery in Manila and he's been to all the Pacific battlegrounds. He was able to go to Tarawa 2 yrs ago for the 70th Anniversary. He walked along the landing beaches and said he couldn't imagine storming that hell hole. He knows the men of the non profit 'History Flight' organization that brought Lt Bonnyman home.
