Ordinary men, who, when the chips were down, performed extraordinary deeds. Each posssed an inner strength most can't even imagine having. Yet, to a man, they're humble, and modest, and more than willing to shift the glory to their comrades who didn't make it home.
RIP Mr. Ruiz. Thank you for your strength, and sacrifice, and for the example you leave behind.
